In 2007, I started Julie's Swim School at The Marriott Hotel in Leicester, where I taught until 2020 Unfortunately, COVID hit and the leisure industry was severely impacted. As a result, the pool was closed down, which left me heartbroken, since I had taught numerous adults and children how to swim over the years.

However, I did not give up and restarted the Swim School at West Gates School on Glenfield Road in October 2021 followed by Countesthorpe in March 2022 Since then, we have grown in strength and now teach over 350 children per week at two venues
